A: Hey, stop! Where are you going?
أَيُّها، تَوَقَّفْ! إِلى أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُ؟
Ayyuhā, tawaqqaf! Ilā ayna tadhhabu?
B: I am going out.
أَنَا أَخْرُجُ
Anā akhruju.
A: What for?
لِماذا؟ / لِفِعْلِ ماذا؟
Limādhā? / Li-fiʿli mādhā?
B: I want to play football with my friends.
أُرِيدُ أَلْعَبَ كُرَةَ القَدَمِ مَعَ أَصْدِقائِي
Urīdu alʿaba kurata al-qadami maʿa aṣdiqā'ī.
A: And who is going to wash your clothes when you come back?
وَ مَنْ سَيَغْسِلُ مَلابِسَكَ عِنْدَما تَعودُ؟
Wa-man sayaghsilu malābisaka ʿindamā taʿūdu?
B: I will wash them myself.
سَأَغْسِلُها بِنَفْسِي
Sa-aghsiluhā binafsī.
